SMC Vacations LLC acts as a travel planning agency and liaison between our clients and the travel suppliers they choose, including (but not limited to) airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, transportation companies, and insurance providers. By booking travel through SMC Vacations LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following

Payment Processing

SMC Vacations does not collect or hold client funds for travel bookings. All payments are processed directly with the travel suppliers using your authorized payment method. SMC Vacations uses your payment information only to transmit authorized payments to these suppliers on your behalf. SMC Vacations is not the merchant of record for any travel purchase.

Authorization to Use Payment Information

By submitting your payment information or completing our Credit Card Authorization Form, you authorize SMC to:

Use the provided payment details solely to facilitate travel reservations you have approved.
Transmit your information securely to the designated travel suppliers for payment processing.
Charge your card only in accordance with the supplier’s terms, rates, and timelines.

SMC Vacations will never use your card for unauthorized charges, internal billing, or unrelated purposes.

Protection of Personal & Payment Information

Your privacy and data security are important to us. All personal and payment information provided to SMC Vacations is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Payment details are transmitted using secure, encrypted methods whenever possible. SMC Vacations does not sell, store, or share payment information beyond what is required to complete your approved bookings. Only authorized members of the SMC team may access your payment details for booking purposes. Deposit, Payment Schedules, Deadlines & Declined Payment

Each travel supplier sets its own deposit, final payment, and cancellation deadlines. You are responsible for meeting these deadlines to avoid cancellation, penalties, or loss of funds. SMC will send reminders as a courtesy, but it remains the client’s responsibility to ensure payments are made on time. If a payment method is declined or fails for any reason, the reservation may be canceled by the supplier, and supplier penalties or price changes may apply. SMC is not responsible for cancellations caused by failed client payments.

SMC Vacations LLC strongly recommends purchasing travel protection insurance for all domestic and international trips. Travel insurance can provide coverage for unforeseen events such as:

Trip cancellation or interruption

Lost baggage

Emergency evacuation
Supplier default
Weather-related disruptions
COVID-19 or illness-related cancellations

SMC Vacations LLC highly encourages every traveler to purchase comprehensive travel insurance coverage as soon as their trip is booked.

Travel insurance is the only way to protect your financial investment against unexpected travel disruptions.

Waiver of Responsibility

If you decline to purchase travel insurance:

You understand that you assume full financial risk for any loss, delay, injury, or additional expense.
You acknowledge that SMC Vacations LLC is not responsible for any costs incurred due to the lack of travel insurance.
You understand that many travel suppliers have strict nonrefundable and nontransferable policies.

By declining travel insurance, you confirm that:

You were offered travel insurance.
You were given the opportunity to review coverage options.
You understand the financial and personal risks of traveling without insurance.
You release SMC Vacations LLC from liability related to trip interruption, cancellations, emergencies, or losses.
